Melissa C. Fesler, DNP, RN, FNP-BC, PHN

Family Nurse Practitioner

Melissa is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a doctoral degree in nursing practice from University of California San Francisco. Melissa received her B.S. in Medical and Public Health Microbiology with a minor in Biotechnology from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and her B.S. in Nursing from Samuel Merrit University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Melissa received her M.S. in Nursing as an FNP from Georgetown University, and she has over ten years of experience as an FNP.

Melissa is a member of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners (CANP), American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Association (ANA), American Society for Microbiology (ASM), American Society for Reproductive Immunology (ASRI), Lymedisease.org (LDo), and Sigma Theta Tau International.

Chris Sanow

Director of Patient Care

With a degree in Microbiology from San Jose State University, Chris Sanow's journey in the medical field began. After successfully navigating her internship and passing her state boards, she emerged as a licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist for the State of California. Over a decade was dedicated to a prominent OB/GYN practice in Los Gatos before Chris embraced a pioneering role within one of the premier IVF groups in Silicon Valley. Her involvement spanned embryology to IVF laboratory setup. Following pivotal experiences, she returned as the laboratory supervisor of the OB/GYN group. Chris's collaboration with Dr. Beer started in 1996, coordinating patient care for Rosalind Franklin patients at the Los Gatos office. Transitioning to Dr. Beer's private practice in 2003, she evolved into the Director of Patient Care, amassing over two decades of service at the Alan Beer Center. Her profound expertise envelops infertility, obstetrics, and crucially, reproductive immunology.

Barbara Pease

RN

Barbara has been a nurse since 1990. She started working in inpatient oncology at El Camino Hospital but spent most of her career working in outpatient infusion, specializing in chemotherapy. She began working at the Beer Center in 2016, performing infusions on an interim basis. Since August 2020, she has been overseeing the infusion room, handling all our local in-house infusions. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and volunteers with The Red Cross.

Brandi Dominguez

Medical Assistant

Brandi Dominguez holds an associate's degree in Health Sciences, earned from Evergreen College. Her passion for healthcare led her to obtain a phlebotomy certificate, allowing her to make a significant impact at the Red Cross. Holding the distinction of a licensed medical assistant, Brandi's expertise has made her an invaluable asset to the Alan Beer Center team.
