Raphael Stricker, M.D. received his medical degree and specialty training in Internal Medicine from Columbia University in New York, NY. He did subspecialty training in Immunology and Immunotherapy at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. He is currently the Medical Director of the Alan E. Beer Medical Center for Reproductive Immunology in Los Gatos, CA, and Union Square Medical Associates, a multispecialty medical practice in San Francisco.

Dr. Stricker is the past President of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS) and a current board member of LymeDisease.org. He also serves on the Lyme Disease Advisory Committee that advises the California Department of Public Health. He has testified at Lyme disease hearings before the California State Senate and the United States Congress.

Dr. Stricker is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Immunology (ASRI), the American Federation for Medical Research (AFMR), the American Society of Microbiology (ASM), and the American Society of Hematology (ASH). He is the recipient of the American Medical Association Award for Physician Excellence and an Outstanding Reviewer Award from the Annals of Internal Medicine and has authored over 200 medical journal articles, letters, and abstracts. His research interests include immunological abortion, tickborne diseases, and COVID-19.
